The Choice - Video Preview

FOX has ordered six episodes of The Choice - a dating show hosted by Cat Deeley with a twist similar to NBC's The Voice.

Four single celebs sit in a rotating chair while a potential mate describes herself. If the celeb likes what he hears they pull their "love handle" (FOX's description!) and the chair spins around. If more than one celeb turns, the person decides who's "team" he or she wants to join. This is just like The Voice, only for dating, LOL. The contestants then move on until there are two left from each team battling it out for a date. Five episodes will feature male celeb bachelors and one episode will feature female celeb bachelorettes.

I just love FOX's "original" counter programming! So cheesy. This reminds of the time when all these copycat shows starting coming up from FOX: Joe Millionaire, Temptation Island (I loved that show!), etc. The Choice premieres on June 7.
