'The Black Swan's Barbara Hershey is Cast in 'Once Upon a Time'
I love Once Upon a Time more than anything. Somehow, the magical-nonsense wrapped in fairy tale-sugary goodness captures my darkest fantasies. OK, that's a bit much, but this show can do no wrong!
Late last night, news broke that The Black Swan's Barbara Hershey was cast as none other than Regina's mother. OMG, what perfect casting!
Lest you forget, Hershey played the crazy-faced mother, Erica Sayers, to Natalie Portman's swan. If that performance was any indication, this should be a real treat!
Who's more evil than the Evil Queen? Her elegant, yet imposing mother, of course, aka the woman who taught Regina everything. Chills. (This just in: Academy Award nominee Barbara Hershey has booked a multi-episode arc as the matriarch of the most evil family in fairy tale world. The Black Swan actress has the potential to return in Season 2, should the series be renewed.)
