'The Bachelor' Star Ashley Salter Marries College Sweetheart (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Ashley Salter, one of the stars of The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise, has finally found love right under her own nose, as she married college sweetheart Austin Brannen over the weekend.

Fans will likely best remember Ashley S. as the hairdresser portrayed as being quirky, to the point of confusing pomegranates with onions, and generally just being a bit too intense for Bachelor Chris Soules. But those days are long behind Ashley, who got engaged to Brannen last fall. In April, they welcomed their first child, Brooks Hartman Brannen, culminating in Saturday's wedding at the Atlantis Hotel & Casino on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. So I guess you could argue that, despite failing to find love on Bachelor In Paradise, she still technically got married in Paradise anyway.

Naturally, Ashley made for an absolutely stunning bride, as the 26-year-old wowed family and friends with her full-length gown with embroidered top. In many respects, it appeared to be a more beautiful wedding than many we actually get from The Bachelor franchise. So I'm absolutely stoked for Ashley S., who deserves to catch a break after being depicted as a crazy person on national television. Congratulations, Ashley!
