The Apprentice: Martha Stewart - Episode 2

Jim092105_1Jim of course is currently the undisputed face of EVIL (now that those Big Brother 6 chicks are out of our lives). Generally I like having the villains on board because they create the necessary conflict that makes these reality shows so interesting. For this bad apple however, I just want to dive into the television, join the Apprentice cast and have a bitch-fight with him (and I'll bring Fed and the CCG's with me). Geez.

Unfortunately, Jim doesn't realize that he just booked himself a ticket to Reality TV hell when all is said and done. No one will hire him in the real world, certainly not Martha, and he will become a minor celebrity for a while with a bad reputation like Omarosa. For an ad executive, Jim surprisingly has a bad sense of "image". I am sure he is sequestered in a hotel right now watching the way he has been portrayed and shaking his head. I see no upside for him personally after this -- he's merely a standard villain and pawn for another reality show. His only hope right now is that viewers continue to not watch this show -- hahaha -- the ratings have been dismal apparently.

Martha also made a bad business decision for this episode. Unfortunate for her (and the producers) Chuck was on point by bringing Jim and Dawn to the conference room -- the two disruptive forces on their team. Martha however "chose" to get rid of the quitter with no executive fortitude, to essentially guarantee another week of backbiting and chaos on the Matchstick team.

Everything aside, it was great to see that the "reward" was volunteer work.
