The Amazing Race 21 - New Cast Revealed Plus New Twist - Video

The Amazing Race season 21 cast has been revealed, along with a new twist that could have the winner taking home an even bigger prize.

The Amazing Race season 21 cast will include a snowboarder who is a double amputee, a pair of goat farmers known as The Fabulous Beekman Boys, some monster truck racers, a rock musician who has played for Megadeath and White Lion, twins (girls this time), substitute teachers (for real, not like the federal agents posing as teachers last year),  a pair of Chippendale dancers (woo hoo!), and a lumberjack (and he's ok).

Last season's cast of border guards, federal agents, Big Brother alums and squabbling couples often made it hard to want to root for anyone, so I'm happy to see the show returning to focusing on eye candy and wackiness to go along with the requisite squabbling siblings and couples for season 21.

Just to make things a little bit more exciting, they have tossed in a new twist.  If the team that wins the first leg of the race wins the whole thing, they will win 2 million dollars, instead of the usual 1 million.  Nice!  Should make that first leg all the more exciting.

I'm looking forward to another season of cat fights, domestic squabbles, people getting lost, doing funny things and falling in mud holes and a variety of wacky challenges set in locations around the world as 11 teams compete to win The Amazing Race!

The new season premieres Sunday, September 30th at 8EST/7CST.
