Thanks Peggi Blu
So for some reason, I guess the combination of fatigue, not getting any points in the office pool, Heejun Han leaving, stress from CJ not eating in a timely manner and maybe just too much soft drinks, I've been feeling a bit down. I also read a few tweets of "Glamberts at war" over the past 24 hours, which triggered yet another Season 8 anxiety attack yesterday.
My immediate reaction oddly was to thank you guys for all the support you have given me for the past few years on the blog. Yeah, I kinda wanted to give everyone a hug just now. I am very grateful that I am able to do what I do -- not everyone can say that they open up their computer every morning and look at entertainment news and call it 'work.' Aside from the ups and downs of looking at stats everyday (yes, I am a statwhore!) -- your messages in the comments, Twitter, Facebook and even Pinterest, have kept me inspired to keep on going. I wish I could do more to make more and more people happy! I feel that I am in the middle of something big and something inside of me just wants to break free (that's the sentimental guy talking here).
Last night, Peggi Blu from American Idol tweeted Heejun an inspiring farewell message, which I thought would be great if I had gotten one too. To my surprise, she responded to my tweet to her! Gasp!
Heejun, I loved working with you. you remember that you are a chosen child. NEVER EVER give up. you have a great gift.

My dream is to get personal words of encouragement from @peggiblu #oneday

@rickey Hi Rickey, are you a singer? and are you good at your craft?
— Peggi Blu (@peggiblu) March 30, 2012
Really? She thought I was a singer? Maybe I am.
I forwarded her this song a taped back in May 2009 and I hope she watched it. And I am posting it here for everyone too:

Hopefully I will feel better after a few sleeps.
I have a great dog, a wonderful cast doing the Secret Show and very dedicated interns helping me with daily posts here, plus awesome regular readers, so I really have no reason to be down.
Maybe it's just that "time of the month" -- I hate it when that happens.
Will Midol help? Or is that Zyrtec?
Update: Peggi Blu responded again!
@rickey OK I understand. I'm sure that whatever you do, you do it well. and that is to be respected at all times
