Tesla Model S Can Turn Into A Boat Says Elon Musk

By Rickey ·

After a video of a Tesla Model S was shown floating in a flooded tunnel last week, Tesla founder Elon Musk confirmed that the electric car will indeed float well enough to be a boat.

He wrote on social media:

We def don't recommended this, but Model S floats well enough to turn it into a boat for short periods of time. Thrust via wheel rotation.
