Tesla CEO Denied Entry Into Met Gala A-List Afterparty

Tesla CEO Elon Musk was reportedly denied entry into a Met Gala A-list afterparty last Monday, according to Us Weekly.

Musk along with his mother Maye had attended the Met Gala earlier in the night and waited outside New York's Standard hotel at 1 a.m. to get into the hotel's Boom Boom Room - where celebs like Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Taylor Swift were partying.

They were turned away even if people shouted that he was Elon Musk - the billionaire cofounder of Tesla and PayPal.

The Boom Boom Room's staff need to read up. They probably don't own Teslas, so they're not in the know.
