Terra Nova - Nightfall - Recap

A meteor crashes outside of Terra Nova and knocks out all power and anything that needs energy to work. The people of Terra Nova are now left with big pieces of wood to defend themselves against dinosaurs, no guns (because bullets are so last century apparently), no transportation and no futuristic medicine. That last one probably sucks the most for Hunter who has a 30 foot worm of a parasite crawling around in his stomach.

Maddy and Mark are on their first date and without a car to take them home, they're stuck in the jungle after sneaking out to spend the day together. Spending the night hiding in a tree with a hot guy really isn't the worst thing that could happen to her. Jim and Zoe are stuck in an underground memory room with no way out because the doors are also energized. Jim needs Zoe to crawl through a hatch to let them out.

Taylor is forced to ask the bartender for help repairing electrical chips to gain some power back. While he's distracted with that, The Sixers are taking advantage of the lack of power at Terra Nova. They create a dino diversion and sneak in to steal Mira's precious box. What is inside this thing? Even after it's revealed, I still have no idea what it is. Mira takes the box to its true owner. Lucas. Taylor's son. He opens it and some computer images pop out and he says it's for "his work." Whatever that means. But if Taylor wants the box, Lucas says he'll have to kill him for it. Wouldn't it be a trip if Taylor really was the bad guy?
