Television Critics Association Awards 2013 - Full Winners List

This has been a pretty stellar year for variety in quality television. Case in point: the 2013 recipients of the Television Critics Association Award, which run the gamut from eclectic comedy and explosive drama, to family programming and informative documentary filmmaking. The awards, given at the TCA’s summertime press tour, honor the shows and performances best loved by the critics and reporters who write about TV.
In this case, the critics managed to honor not only AMC's Breaking Bad as Program of the Year, but also HBO's Game of Thrones as Outstanding Achievement in Drama, spreading the love among the dramas. Included in that spreading of wealth was FX's The Americans, which led with four nominations but took home only one, for Outstanding New Program.
The awards also honored individuals such as Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany, Louis C.K. and Barbara Walters, who received the Career Achievement Award. Even dearly-departed shows got their time in the sun, with All In The Family earning the Heritage Award and Bunheads taking an award for Outstanding Achievement in Youth Programming. Now maybe we can get on ABC Family's ass about un-canceling it (lost cause, I know. But dammit, let a grown man dream!).
