TeenNick Axes Doug and Clarissa Explains It All From Lineup

This sucks. TeenNick announced today plans to add new shows to their 90s Are All That programming lineup. Great right? Depends who you ask. They will be getting rid of Doug and Clarissa Explains It All and replacing them with Hey Arnold and Rocko's Modern Life.

Now don't get me wrong. Those were great shows too. But why do they have to get rid of Doug and Clarissa for them? Are they cheaper? It's only been on for like a month. I understand they need to change things up and test them out for ratings but come on. This block runs from midnight to 4 am with half of that being repeats of the first half.

Wouldn't logic dictate moving Doug and Clarissa back an hour to make room for these new test shows instead of the repeats would be the smart thing to do?

Well the LOGICAL thing to do would be to actually air the shows they've been advertising in their promos. The ones this generation hasn't seen on tv or anywhere else in years. You can watch Hey Arnold or Rocko on Netflix, buy their dvds, or the other channel that already airs Rocko.
