'Teen Mom 2' Star Leah Messer Granted Shared Custody of Daughters

After a very messy custody battle, Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has been granted joint custody of her children, twins Aliannah and Aleeah.

Said an Us Weekly source of the news, "Leah is doing great. She had confidence that she would be proven right and get her custody rights back."

The paid informant would go on to add that Messer will have her daughters Thursdays through Sundays and her ex-husband Corey Simms will have them the remainder of the week and for one weekend each month.

Messer originally lost custody of the girls based on allegations that the children were often tardy and missing school altogether.

Said the insider, "[Leah] proved in court that the kids were not tardy to school, so the judge said there was no reason the kids shouldn’t be with their mom predominantly."
