Tee sings 'When Doves Cry' on The X Factor Australia 2014 (VIDEO)

Tee sang 'When Doves Cry' on The X Factor Australia 2014 Top 7 Show on September 21, 2014.

I liked the end, but that wasn't really enough to save this performance, for me. I just felt like he shouted his way through the entire performance. I'm not sure why he sang a straight-up interpretation of the original, with the dated 1980s sound. Get an acoustic guitar player out there with him, or a pianist, or BOTH. But don't have him sing a Prince song and then give him a Prince arrangement, to boot! Give him a softer arrangement that allows his vocals to take center stage, so that he doesn't have to shout over the band or spend 90% of the performance with his eyes closed. I have no idea why Nat or Ronan didn't suggest this after seeing how much trouble he was having in rehearsals. Sure, I didn't care for this performance, but I don't feel it was entirely Tee's fault.

But what do you think of Tee?
