Taylor Swift Won't Appear On Ed Sheeran's New Album

Ed Sheeran might be putting the finishing touches on his sophomore album, but there's one thing he can say for sure: There'll be no Taylor Swift on there.

The friends collaborated on Taylor's 2012 release Red, co-writing and both performing on the duet 'Everything Has Changed', which she released as a single last year (including an adorable video). But Ed looks at it as a "been there, done that" situation, although he does assure fans that they will continue to be friends, continue to hang out and continue to write together. He also didn't allude as to whether they'll team up for something new on Taylor's fifth studio album, which will likely hit stores late 2014/early 2015.

Ed explained he wanted to surprise people with his new album, and there's certainly a lot of pressure on the British singer/songwriter now that he's famous around the globe. It's certainly a big jump from just a couple of years ago when he was sleeping on friends' couches and travelling around England playing tiny venues in exchange for beer. Just goes to show you what a couple of hit songs and a budding friendship with America's Sweetheart can do for you.
