The ratings for the performance shows might not be up to snuff, but Simon and company are looking to boost ratings by continuing to book A-list performers for the results shows, following up last night's One Direction appearance by inviting Taylor Swift to take The X Factor stage. Niall Horan is probably thrilled by the news, since he's a big fan...he wouldn't date her though. Why he wouldn't want to have an infectiously catchy, passive-aggressive song written about him, I'll never know. I'd jump at that opportunity like Simon Cowell at a BOGO sale for V-necks.
Her appearance will mark the first live, televised performance of "State of Grace," off her megahit album, Red.
