Taylor Swift Performs 'You're So Vain' With Carly Simon
On Saturday, July 27, Taylor Swift invited Carly Simon on stage to perform 'You're So Vain'.
At the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Taylor and Carly performed as part of the 'Red Tour' to a sold-out crowd of 70,000 fans. Originally released in 1972 from the Grammy-nominated album 'No Secrets', the song still holds up as a great one and had the entire audience singing along as the pair danced around the stage enthusiastically.
Taylor introduced the performance by wondering out loud who the song was about, which has echoes in her own life and career considering her penchant to write about her ex-boyfriends (sometimes rather controversially!).
Taylor has had various special guests on the 'Red Tour', including Ed Sheeran, Pat Monahan from Train and Tyler Glenn from Neon Trees. She also recently performed with the Rolling Stones, in Chicago on June 3.
