Taylor Swift is Being Sued by Lucky 13 For Her Use of the Number 13

Taylor's Swift's favorite number may be 13, but it's certainly not her lucky number as the clothing company Lucky 13 is suing her for use of the double digits.

Okay then.

According to a lawsuit obtained by E! News, Taylor is being taken to court because of "trademark infringement stemming from her unauthorized use of Lucky 13's federally registered trademarks."

Lucky 13 claims they have tried to settle the matter with Swift's people privately but have received no responses.

Hence the lawsuit they filed yesterday (May 20).

In addition to her birthday being on December 13th, T-Swizzle says that she often paints the number 13 on her hand for shows because it's her "lucky number."

As she explained, "I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first No. 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time I've won an award I've been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter ... Basically whenever a 13 comes up in my life, it's a good thing."

You know, except this time.
