Taylor Swift Goes Full-On Psycho Ex in 'Blank Space' (VIDEO)

Taylor Swift has caught all kinds of hell in the tabloids for her personal life, ridiculing her over her slew of celebrity boyfriends, bad breakups, and the hit songs that came out of those relationships. So how does Swift respond, other than to just shake it off?

She steers right into the criticism, poking fun at her rumored status as a "crazy ex-girlfriend" by...well, playing a crazy ex-girlfriend in her latest video, "Blank Space", from her new hit album, 1989. It's a pop track that sounds like Katy Perry by way of Taylor Swift, which I suppose is the point. And the video shares Perry's flair for the cinematic. We get the narrative of a relationship in full bloom, as it then flowers into obsession, bitterness, and then violence, with Taylor destroying a car with golf clubs. It's such a wonderfully tongue-in-cheek, self-referential track (or at least I would hope it is) that it's hard not to be delighted by Taylor's sense of humor about all this. Seriously, with lyrics like these, it's hard to imagine she isn't in on the joke...

So it's gonna be forever Or it's gonna go down in flames You can tell me when it's over If the high was worth the pain Got a long list of ex-lovers They'll tell you I'm insane Cause you know I love the players And you love the game
