Taylor Hicks - Audition Video Clip

I think the spoiler list from the forums is erroneous. Over at Taylor Hicks' official website, his face, name and even scheduled appearances are proudly displayed for everyone to see. As I understand it, there is a mandatory shutdown on all official websites once you become part of the Top 24/Top 12. Or have I just simply lost my mind? Is this not his website?

I'm a bit confused with the Jose Penala situation as well since his "fan site" is located at the very official sounding josepenala.com. His homies are either campaigning very very early, or feel they have nothing to lose by violating contestant rules (read: he did not make it, so might as well get something out of his Idol appearance -- and sell things like his past albums).

Compare that to Chris Daughtry's band Absent Element where his picture and bio have been erased. It's quite obvious that Chris has made it to Top 24 because of this. (Remember Ryan Conferido's MySpace getting shutdown when he became a contestant?)

UPDATE: The Taylor Hicks website just shut down. His chances for Top 24 just went up up up.
