Tavis Smiley and Sharna Burgess danced Cha Cha Cha on Dancing with the Stars 19 on Monday, September 22, 2014.

Music was "Boogie Wonderland" by Earth, Wind & Fire.

This was a busy week for Tavis as he was juggling dance rehearsal with a book tour.

"You got all the steps," said judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

"It needed to be cleaner," said head judge Len Goodman. "It lacked a bit of polish."

"This definitely felt this was your jam," said judge Julianne Hough.

"You got the disco fever going," said judge Bruno Tonioli.

The judges gave them a total score of 28.

After the dance, Tavis Smiley said: "I enjoyed the dance."

Tavis Smiley is currently the host of the late-night television talk show “Tavis Smiley” on PBS, as well as “The Tavis Smiley Show” from Public Radio International (PRI). He has authored or co-authored 16 books, including What I Know for Sure: My Story of Growing Up in America and The Rich and the Rest of Us: A Poverty Manifesto, both of which were New York Times Bestsellers.
