Taking the Stage - Season Finale

I feel so sad that Taking the Stage is over!

This episode was a bit depressing -- like saying goodbye to a friend. I wanted to cry.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS

Everybody's auditioning for something. Malik and Tyler audition for Bloc Agency. Jasmine for the Alvin Ailey School. And Mia meets with Jive Records.

Malik doesn't make the cut. Tyler is offered to be signed, but he will have to move to LA or NYC. Since he has one more year of high school, he decides to "get better" first. I hope they remember him when he graduates. And hopefully he keeps busy during the Summer!

Mia does not get signed by Jive Records. Drat! I will have to follow her MySpace now to see what she and her band are doing. Maybe now that the show is over, she will reveal more details online.

Jasmine and Tyler put closure to their relationship. Aaron and Mia agree that they will be friends. Malik and Matthew also pledge their friendship.

The show ends with Mia and Tyler agreeing to go out on a date.

I interviewed Mia and Tyler yesterday and they are just very good friends now.

This has been one of the best shows I've seen in a while. I don't know how they are going to fit a Season 2, but I think they should because this is a hit. I would love to follow the lives of Mia and Tyler in particular on TV. They are young, have their careers ahead of them -- and they are very talented.
