It's Tyler vs. Malik in a battle of the dance crews. Woohoo!

Jasmine auditions for Julliard in Chicago, and Tyler and Mia reconnect...

It was a bit odd Tyler joined the Star Performance Center for the Jamfest Nationals -- I guess his original crew at the school just could not cut it. At any rate, The Definition led by Malik also joins.

I thought Malik did really well... I even thought they would win, to fulfill the whole Cinderella story thing. But Star Performance Center won yet another championship. Was it because of Tyler? Hmmmm... But they did put him front and center during their performance so it can still count. I'm sure this might be in the works, but if Tyler teams up with Malik in the future, that would be an awesome episode right there.

Jasmine auditions in Chicago. Unfortunately, she did not make it. Felt bad for her. Doubly so because of the looming boyfriend troubles with Tyler. Personally, it is really hard to judge her dancing skill from the TV clips. If she is the best ballerina in the school, I believe it. It really would have been better if she made Julliard, but I guess she doesn't have the chops.

Meanwhile, Tyler's courtship of Mia begins... or whatever it is he is doing. Mia is not having any of it! Hahaha. I liked that. Mia knows that she can't get into a relationship with Tyler right now, even if Tyler looks like he is madly in love with her. I think that is a good wake up call for Tyler -- who is clearly confused. And for a second there I thought: Maybe he's confused because he doesn't want Jasmine or Mia... maybe he wants... Me! ... LOL

The preview for next week's episode is great: Aaron leaving the school? Tyler finally breaking up with Jasmine? Tyler asking Mia out? Excited.
