Taking the Stage 2 - It's Over

Well, it's over. It actually got better during the last few episodes, but season 2 was nowhere near the quality of season 1 in terms of drama and story. Season 2 was full of contrived stories and characters -- it was very disappointing.

Tyler Nelson might not be back for a third season if this show ever returns. I do hope his career goes somewhere.

I think MTV needs to look at their casting process again for this show. If they were going to add some cast members who are not yet in the school, I think it would be better if they come in as juniors instead of seniors -- that way the audience can see a development from year to year. The idea of some of these guys coming in clearly to get some TV time to promote themselves really bothered me. At least hide it a little. Aren't there anyone already in SCPA who they can mold into breakout stars like Mia and Tyler?
