Taking the Stage 2 - Fame and Homecoming Dance

A special one-hour episode of Taking the Stage 2 where we basically see Tyler Nelson sing 'Dancing on the Sidewalk' (WOOHOO!) during Fame and he and Ian act like total jerks during the Homecoming Dance. Omigosh, they were so bad. How can they be so mean to those girls? Being cute is not a license to be a jerk. High school really sucks -- I'm having flashbacks.
But I don't know. Maybe Tyler and Ian were smart enough to know that this is all just for TV, and the two Emilys just took their showmances too seriously. Both of them took their "girls" aside to talk -- and basically ruined their night by telling them how awful they were (something like that) that's why they broke up or just want to be a friend. Obviously both Ian and Tyler are so immature they have no idea how to treat a girl respectfully.
I'm fine with Tyler and Emily breaking up, though Tyler went a bit too far. But Ian and Emily actually looked good together, and I thought they had chemistry. And now Emily is going back to Adam? What a step down, oh well. Poor Emily. Playing into the hands of manipulative Adam.
A rare good episode where we see some nice high school drama -- and of course Tyler singing.
Tyler has already removed the "TTS" from his Twitter account, so it looks like he won't be in the next season of Taking the Stage if MTV decides to renew it. Tyler will be appearing in Stomp the Yard 2.
I probably won't be watching a next season of this, but who knows -- some new cutie might show up at the school.
