Taking the Stage 2 - Episode 2: Testing the Waters - Adam Calvert sings "She's The Brave One"

Lazy recap of Taking the Stage 2 last night:

Tyler Nelson is such a playa! This time he's courting Emily Silber one of the dancers in his crew. She knows what she's getting into, but agrees to go out with him because he's cute. I don't blame her, cute trumps a lot of things. Tyler is all-around cuteness. Unfortunately, after Mia and Jasmine last year, she feels kinda third-rate - I am not excited over this at all.

Mia Carruthers came back to the school during the "songwriter's workshop" to give some advice, and also watch the talent show.

During the show, Adam sings a song for his grandmother who has stage 4 cancer -- which was very sweet. I was touched.

And that's it!

Sigh. What is this show turning into? Where's the drama from last season? The show is making Adam the focus of the story at the moment, and all I want is Mia and Tyler. Hope it gets better.
