By Tina Bradley · 2012-08-08

China played South Korea in the gold medal match of the Men's Team Table Tennis event at the London 2012 Olympics.

Here are your results:

The men's team event is best of five matches to win the gold. The first two rounds were played with one member of each team squaring off. Match three was a doubles contest. Match four & five, if needed, would be singles.

Match 1: Ma (China) vs Ryu (S. Korea) - China won 3 games to 1

Match 2: Jang (China) vs Joo (S. Korea) - China won 3 games to 1

Match 3: Wang & Jang (China) vs Oh & Ryu (S. Korea) - China won 3 games to 0

Team China wins the gold giving them a clean sweep of all four table tennis gold medals at the London games and 24/28 of the gold medals that have been awarded since table tennis became an Olympic sport. Maybe they should let someone else win before they decide to make it a non-Olympic sport, like softball. Right IOC?

Results:

Gold: China

Silver: S. Korea

Bronze: Germany

Congratulations to all the medal winners!
