T-shirts and Boxers

Another weekend has come and gone. My Fantasia posts have been interesting, but perhaps it's time for some mundane Rickey-related postings...

Let's see... I finally did my laundry today, and I discovered I have a lot of clothes! My laundry bag was quite heavy, specially now that I've ditched my girly shopping cart. Actually, I have a lot of 1. t-shirts and 2. boxers. So the discovery is that I'm a t-shirt and boxers kinda guy. I must confess that since I am so lazy to go to the laundry, I have been going to Gap/Old Navy to buy shirts and boxers to use the next day. I'm so bad. But I was folding away this morning, even if these two Mexican girls who spoke no English tried to muscle their way in my drying and folding area. For some reason, one of them thought that wearing tight clothing to reveal the many layers of body fat on their torso was appealing. I didn't think so, but I didn't speak good Spanish so I could tell her: "You need to go to the gym girl." Although it would have been futile anyway since, obviously, she had no clue what was going on with her.

After laundry, to the gym! Fifteen minutes of treadmill, and some really intense shoulder exercises. Last week, I did the same thing, and my shoulders and chest ached all week. I had serious shampoo-difficulty. Nevertheless, I've finally made it to that point where I am exercising, dieting (eating healthy to those who think I do not need a diet) and taking care of my general physical being, in this case once-a-week yoga. I feel good about that.

I have also been working more and working hard. I'm trying to finish a website for a band performing at CBGB next weekend. I hope it will be great. And I just finished the website of David Ziff Cooking.

So that's that for the t-shirt and boxers kinda guy... next up, more Fantasia!
