Sydnee Carter sang 'Say Something' on The X Factor Australia 2014 Live Show 4.

This was a solid way to bounce back from last week's bottom two appearance. I still think Sydnee lacks an emotive quality that makes it difficult to get us as invested in her performances as we could be. But she often sounds great, which is the biggest takeaway from this performance. This was also the rare case where I loved the production surrounding it, with the puzzle pieces being removed one-by-one. I'm not sure how much farther Sydnee will go, but I thought this was one of her best performances. The fragility in her voice just fit so perfectly with this song. I thought it was beautiful.
