Switched At Birth - Pandora's Box - Recap

Daphne confronts Regina about the bombshell she discovered inside the guitar case. She demands to know why she has hundreds of pictures and files on Bay throughout her life. Regina is shocked that Daphne found out and confesses that she knew they were switched as babies and hired a private investigator to find Bay. Daphne doesn't get any other information because they are interrupted by Katherine. Bay's parents have no idea what they walked in on. It's the information they've been wondering about. It's what the hospital has on Regina.

Daphne can't handle what she has learned and wants to get away. She cuts school with Wilke and ends up trespassing and getting drunk with him in her old neighborhood. This is such an odd scene. For some reason, because of Regina I had assumed Daphne would be the kind of kid who wouldn't want any part of that. I'm even more surprised when Daphne looks at Wilke and decides she wants to get some of that. They stop before doing the deed once Wilke brings up the switch and reminds her why her day was so crappy to begin with. When his car gets shut down for unpaid parking tickets, Daphne decides to call Emmett for a ride. LOL at her just leaving him alone in a dark car in a scary neighborhood by himself. Nice.

Bay and Emmett have been getting closer making out in the park and such. Bay is frustrated when Emmett won't speak around her. I wonder what his voice sounds like. Bay is pissed when she walks into Emmett's room and sees the place is completely decked out in pictures of Daphne. She's even more annoyed when she calls three times asking him for a ride.

Regina tries to get rid of the guitar case but changes her mind. Whether because she can't part with the pictures or because she's considering telling the truth, we'll never know. Because Bay's parents find out that Regina has known about the switch since 1998 at the deposition. So much for their settlement. The entire family, minus Toby, confront her on how she knew. She tells them that Angelo always suspected Regina had an affair because of Daphne's looks. When she got sick with meningitis and became deaf, he secretly took a paternity test and found out the truth. There's lots of tears and outrage among the other family and they want her out of the house. Surprisingly, Daphne wants nothing to do with her either and isn't sorry to see her go. Will she come back?
