'Survivor: Worlds Apart' Announced + Twist Revealed (VIDEO)

One season of Survivor has come to a close!

Yes, Survivor: San Juan del Sur has just crowned its Sole Survivor in a finale packed with dramatic twists and turns, and surprising tribal council gameplay.

But what is in store for Survivor Season 30?

The reunion special has revealed SURVIVOR: WORLDS APART!

Check out the video of the reveal below, complete with the twist for the new season. And get hyped for the premiere of Survivor: Worlds Apart on February 25th!

So it's White Collar vs. Blue Collar vs. No Collar (Unemployed), as the three tribes will be divided by employment class.

"They make the rules (White Collar), they follow the rules (Blue Collar), they break the rules (No Collar)."

No other reveal of what the season might entail, such as whether there will be Redemption or Exile Island, or if any of the tribes will be led by returning castaways. But I'm guessing the answer is a resounding no, considering that Jeff Probst would have been all over that, if that were the case.

That said, I don't love the twist, since it smacks of another random social experiment season like Survivor: Fiji or Survivor: Cook Islands, where the gimmicky division of tribes ultimately doesn't end up mattering all that much to the actual game itself. But I also don't hate the twist either, since it's really just being used to add a little drama to the otherwise dry early parts of the game. And if the unemployed tribe is comprised of a bunch of free spirit, "unemployed by choice" types, then there could be some really interesting personalities in this season. I mean, as long as it's a fairly traditional season (i.e., no Redemption Island or specially powered idols), I don't have any problems with this twist whatsoever.

But what do you think of the twist? Sound off in the comments!
