Survivor: South Pacific - Episode 5 - Taste the Victory

Summary: Who got voted off on Survivor: South Pacific? Cochran makes his move! Albert in boxers!

Brandon Hantz is still hurting from last week's Tribal Council. Awww, poor guy.

Redemption Island:

Stacey tells the observers about the Upolu tribe and how Coach is running the show.

Stacey is an idiot. She didn't even do the challenge right.

Christine won and stays for another day -- can she become this year's Matt?

Upolu:

Albert tells Sophie and Coach about a clue he found to the hidden immunity idol - because he couldn't find it himself (and wanted to solidify his alliance).

Coach finds the idol! So Albert, Sophie and Coach are tight now.

Savaii:

The plot to weaken Ozzy and get rid of his right hand woman Elise begins! Cochran the schemer!

Immunity Challenge:

An absolutely disgusting challenge where the tribes bite their way into some meat. The heaviest haul wins.

22 pounds and 12 oz for Savaii
22 pounds and 14 oz for Upolu

Upolu wins immunity and some more food. They also won the meat the caught -- so they will wash and fry it at camp. Ugh.

Tribal Council:

Cochran - 2
Elise - 3
Dawn - 2

Elise is blindsided! Oh no Ozzy - you made another blunder!

Keith and Whitney flaked on voting for Elise by voting for Dawn. I wonder what they will tell Ozzy. But it's obvious to him already because next week, he declares himself a "free agent" (with an idol!)

This has got to be the worst move the Savaii Tribe made as a team. Jim is already weaseling his way in the game so early guaranteeing that they will not have the numbers come merge time. What a disaster. If Cochran survives the merge that would be the biggest underdog story ever. But the Savaii team is weak -- and they are making it weaker.

The weaklings of Savaii's best chance now is that the merge becomes a clusterf%ck of epic proportions.
