Survivor: Redemption Island - This Game Respects Big Moves

Summary: Matt and Sarita duel in Redemption Island, and the winner rejoins the game as the two tribes merge. The combined group is a threat to Rob, who feels he now has a target on him.

Both tribes go to Redemption Island Arena to watch Matt and Sarita duel.

Matt cut his foot before the duel - I'm so worried for him! The challenge involved balancing between two walls on small foot holds.

While the challenge was underway, Phillip explained the Japanese Bushido code.

This challenge had favored women in the past... but Sarita dropped out! Matt won six straight duels! WOW.

The tribes merge and Matt rejoined the game.

And then a twist: Redemption Island begins again after the Tribal Council. Wow. What a season!

The new tribe name is: Murlonio! Rob and Amber's stuffed animal. Hahaha.

Some politics: Matt is leaning toward Zapatera and taking out the Ometepe tribe bringing Andrea with him. Will it work going forward?

Immunity Challenge: Balancing balls on a disc on top a log

Natalie wins individual immunity! Wow. Some challenges are really meant for some people.

Matt reveals to Rob his "plans". Rob reads this as disloyalty and tells the entire Ometepe tribe to vote for Matt.

However, Mike sends a secret message to Matt to vote for Grant. Will Matt and Andrea flip?

Tribal Council:

Phillip is funny now that he's confident. He told some story about the sea and parasites. And Poor Matt in the middle of two tribes and really kinda clueless.

Results:

Ralph plays the hidden immunity idol for Mike! What? Where did that come from? I guess they thought Mike was being targeted - was that info planted or did they assume?

Grant - 5
Steve - 1 (Matt's vote!)
Matt - 6

Matt is voted off and sent to Redemption Island again! OMG!

Oh poor Matt. Even Andrea turned on him. He has no alliance. That was a spirit-breaking vote. Poor Matt.

Rob is brilliant! And why did Ralph play the idol? Idiot.

"I put my trust in god and today god's will is contradictory to what I wanted," says Matt.

Next week: Will Grant turn on Rob? That would be a monumental mistake at this stage in the game.
