Survivor: Redemption Island - Rice Wars

At Redemption Island, Matt is broken. He's praying to god so hard. Poor guy. Can he still win? If he gets back in the game and makes it to the end, the old Zapatera can give him all the votes he needs.

The former Zapatera tribe members are miserable. They've decided to eat all their rice and make the former Ometepe resent them even more.

Phillip reveals he is Buddhist. And he's the rice police! He's not going to let the former Zapatera tribe eat all the rice.

Redemption Island

Everyone goes to Redemption Island Arena to watch Matt, Mike and David duel.

Challenge: Build a house of cards with 150 wooden tiles. The first 2 to reach 8 feet stay alive and the loser becomes the first member of the jury.

Matt and Mike stay alive! David is the first member of the jury.

It's Rice Wars! And Phillip is nuts! He managed to turn the "Rice War" into an argument about race.

Immunity Challenge: Multi-stage puzzle wheel

Rob wins immunity! Wow, very nice. Hang in there Rob!

The Rice Wars continue... Julie hides Phillip's swim trunks! He's now going to have to wear his pink undies all the time! Hahaha. OMG.

Rob says: "One man should not have that much power on the island, but I'm grateful that I do."

Tribal Council:

Rice Wars comes up again. Phillip goes ballistic!

Very interesting how Jeff Probst played mediator between Phillip and Steve and the racial Rice War. And the result: Julie admits that she took the shorts! LOL Was Jeff a therapist before he became a host? Obviously these guys go through some psychological evaluation before they get on the show, so Jeff knows what to expect.

Results:

Phillip: 3
Julie: 6

Julie is voted off and heads for Redemption Island.
