Survivor: Panama - Exile Island - Episode 2

All I can say is, in the middle of this episode, the rules regarding the "exile island" got a bit too complicated, I dreaded having to explain it here in the blog.
MSNBC apparently has good coverage
In a nutshell, after the first eimination, the 4 tribes come together and get merged into 2 via traditional playground style "I pick you to me my teammate girl in the pink shirt". Since their numbers were uneven, one player was left unpicked. And what I witnessed was probably one of the more blatantly racist events I've seen on TV as poor Bruce, the lone Pacific Islander was left by himself. I mean he didn't look "weak" or old, so what were these guys thinking? Anyway, this was a good and bad thing for Bruce, as this virtually guaranteed that he will not be eliminated in the next tribal council (being without a team), but he has to spend the night at exile island alone. When one team eliminates a member, he would replace that team member at tribal council. While on the island Bruce showed off his martial arts skills, which gave me a few chuckles.
Back with the tribes, as these things go, the unorganized team -- which is Shane, the recover chain-smoker's team -- ends up losing both the reward and immunity challenges. I think this team will remain dysfunctional for a while, since the military pilot and the ex-astronaut are on the other side.
In the end, another "older" woman gets voted off.
