Survivor: Nicaragua - Company Will Be Arriving
The tribes merge on Survivor: Nicaragua. New tribe name: Libertad.
Some thoughts:
So it looks like Sash and Brenda have been "running" the show for a while now, and it was very evident tonight after the merge. The young members from Espada still looked to them for leadership.
Because of them, 2 things did not happen:
1. Naonka getting ostracized for lying and stealing.
She stole food and lied about it until she got caught. It took Alina and Chase of all people to convince her to confess. However, because she is in very good terms with Brenda and Sash -- no one on the tribe even considered her. What a total free pass.
2. Marty getting voted off to make Jane happy.
Jane really wanted Marty out of the game and it seems that Jane is one of the most beloved players left. However, that couldn't stop the original plans of getting Alina out.
Highlights:
Challenge: Hold a metal rod in place using slippery metal holders. Two immunity idols given - one for the last male and one for the last female standing.
Jane and Fabio won immunity. Jane stayed out to beat all the other guys in holding the rod.
Jane really wanted Marty out and with the help of Alina who knew she was on the block, try to get some peeps to vote him off. However, Sash and Brenda convince Jane not get rid of Marty. The young tribe really wants to get rid of Alina.
Alina is voted off.
Next week: Do Sash and Brenda lose their leadership power?
