Survivor: Micronesia - Episode 02 - The Sounds of Jungle Love

Fans vs. Favorites

Malakal Tribe: How interesting, a couples alliance: Amanda and Ozzy, James and Parvati. And then the other alliance: Ami, Eliza, Yau-Man and Jonathan. As usual, Cirie is in the middle and power-broker. Crazy right? Looks like Cirie will go with the non-couples down the road.

Airai Tribe: The fans are fractured: The 3 "old-timers": Chet (go Chet!), Kathy and Tracy vs. the rest of the tribe. However, there was a power-struggle with the alpha males in the bigger group. Mikey B has been acting as leader, and planned who to vote for when they lost the immunity challenge. It was a complicated thing where they divided their vote between Chet and Tracy just in case Kathy (who had gone to exile island) gave the immunity idol to either one of them just in case she found it (see? I was confused just writing that). Anyway, Joel, the other alpha male, wasn't convinced and decided that he will call the shots on who to vote out. He decides that he'll get rid of Mikey B's "wingman" Mary by having the "old-timers" vote for her plus a couple of the guys in the bigger group. Joel himself voted for Tracy. In the end, Mary gets blind-sided and Mikey B has no clue what had happened. Excellent.
