Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - Knights of the Round Table - Recap

First things first on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains: Evil Russell found the hidden immunity idol! Wow, just wow. Amazingly, the other side of the Villains tribe led by Boston Rob are totally against looking for the idol - and see E. Russell as a threat. Obviously, Bob is unaware of its immense power.

Reward challenge: coconut basketball (another replay of last season's challenge)

The prize is a feast of chocolate edibles on a beautiful island with a nice cave.

A bit of a scare as medical is called in for James who is taken out of the challenge with a sprain. (Later he comes back to camp limping but with a sprain cast.)

Winner: Villains. Amazing.

At the reward, Parvati and Evil Russell seal their alliance when he reveals to her that he has the idol. And then for good measure, he lures the weakest of Rob's alliance into his fold: Coach! He offered the idol to Coach if he needed it (right).

"As the king that I am, I knight the dragon slayer," said E. Russell.

I love it!

Immunity Challenge

Another puzzle challenge with blindfolds and a caller. In a first, James ends up being the caller due to his injury.

However, Villains win again. Wow. I think the Heroes are just not good at the thinking game and are all brute muscle. How disappointing! Where's Yul when you need him?

Politics:

Poor Rupert. He's aligned with Amanda who cannot think! The group with the numbers want to keep James even if he is obviously injured and is no longer the powerhouse that he is.

And poor JT - he's always making the decisions on this tribe!

At Tribal Council, JT and Candice stick with Rupert ... Tom is voted off.

Not good, not good. Will any of the Heroes survive the merge?

I think Rupert was able to convince JT that they can't do anything about the merge now and the best they can do is stick together. Or JT remembered that James was his first alliance. Either way, James is a sitting duck and is just a vote. The best that can happen for the Heroes is have the merge NOW, then hope for the best. If not, they might just go to Tribal Council again and lose another member.

New episode in two weeks because of March Madness.

Go JT!
