Let's get this show on the road!
AFTER TRIBAL COUNCIL
-After last week's crazy tribal council, Kass is furious that Jefra was blindsided for "crossing the Don" (i.e., Tony). She says that any time someone tries to cross Tony, they get "cement shoes" put on them, and they're tossed out to sea. Tony tries to explain to Trish why he did what he did, but she already knows and understands that it was because Jefra was thinking of blindsiding him. Kass, however, doesn't want to hear Tony's rationalizations. She feels he didn't learn from the time she flipped on her own tribe, which is that you don't want to leave someone out. Which, admittedly, is rich, coming from her. Of course, Kass takes things a bit farther, by telling Tony that he is "getting really old around here," and that he's being a condescending jerk. Tony doesn't know why Kass seems to be so mad with him, but he basically just shrugs it off.
-The next morning, Tony, Spencer and Woo are chatting about all the times Tony's been shot at during patrol back home. Apparently, Tony loves the adrenaline, which doesn't surprise me at all. Spencer explains, in a confessional, that he was only voting with Tony as a one-time deal; however, Spencer is leery of working with Tony again because of how untrustworthy he's proven himself to be.

-Things then get out of control, as Kass, who is still in bed alongside Tasha and Trish, claims to have overheard Tony calling her a "bitch." She calls Tony out on it later, but he claims she misheard him. And Spencer (in a confessional) corroborates Tony's side of things! Apparently, they never brought up Kass once! So either she's as paranoid as Tony is, she's self-centered enough to think everything is about her, or, the far more likely and less interesting possibility, her hearing is lousy after nearly a month in the wild. Either way, Spencer decides to hang back and not speak up for Tony, since Kass being mad at Tony means she isn't mad at him. Although he does note the strange irony that Tony is actually telling the truth, for once, yet he's not being believed; as opposed to all the times he's lied and earned the trust of others.
-Tony tries to smooth things over with Kass, but she doesn't believe him when he says he wasn't talking about her. Kass says she knows what she heard, which offends Tony since she's presuming to know what he said. He storms off as Kass shouts that he's gotten wrapped up in his own lies. This leads to a HUGE dust-up back at camp where Tony and Kass get into name-calling, with Tony saying she's acting like a four-year-old (to which Kass responds, "Which is why I'm more composed than you right now." Um, have you ever BEEN around a 4-year-old, Kass?), while Kass says she hopes Tony grows up a bit in the next few months before turning 40). Kass threatens to have him voted out, at which point, Tony's anger gets the better of him: he reveals he has the special idol! Kass doesn't believe him, however. But the darting eyes around camp suggest that no one else knows what to think as to whether Tony is telling the truth or not. Tony assures Kass that if she writes his name down, she'll find out whether he's lying or not.

REWARD CHALLENGE
-The challenge involves throwing sandbags and knocking over pieces of your team's tower puzzle. Once you've knocked the entire tower over, you can start putting it back together. First team to reassemble their puzzle wins reward, which is a visit to a local elementary school as "Survivor Ambassadors," offering hot dogs and hamburgers.
-It's Tony, Tasha, and Trish (Orange) vs. Spencer, Kass, and Woo (Purple Team). Purple Team takes an early lead, knocking down all their puzzle pieces and beginning the task of reassembling them. Spencer is the puzzle solver, but he quickly falls behind. Orange catches up, and Tasha gains ground on Spencer, eventually taking the lead. However, Spencer is able to figure out the rest of the puzzle and finishes before Tasha in a massive come from behind victory.
SPENCER, KASS, and WOO win reward!
-Well, this should give Tony some more time alone back at camp to plot against Kass. However, it also gives Kass more time with Spencer and Woo to try and get them to join her against Tony. Should be interesting, since I imagine it'll be a tough sell getting anyone to go along with her, since their heads will be on the chopping block if Tony plays his special idol. And even without the special idol, he has a regular hidden immunity idol! If Kass is really thinking of getting Tony gone, then she must really love living on the edge, because there's absolutely no way that ends well before Top 5.

REWARD
-Woo talks about what an honor it is to serve as a Survivor ambassador, and says just how much he loved being able to spend time with all the kids. This school looks strangely like the school Ethan took the soccer balls to in Survivor: Africa.
-Woo, Spencer, and Kass hand out gifts to the kids, including balls, book bags, and globes. Spencer admits he doesn't particularly like kids, but he grew to feel comfortable among the crowd. Woo, however, is really in his element. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything more adorable in 28 seasons of Survivor than Woo going above and beyond to entertain the kids, spinning a basketball for them, and performing a martial arts demonstration, complete with spin kicks and back flips. Kass notes that this is the most animated Woo has been since the game started, and his enthusiasm helped her forget about the game for a bit.
-So Kass approaches Spencer and Woo with the plan of a three-way vote split against Tony, with two votes for Tony and two for Trish. This way, if Tony plays his idol, they can vote out Trish on the re-vote. Kass notes that Top 5 is the last chance Tony has to play his idol, which means they need to flush it out on the next vote. Spencer wants to make a move on Tony, since he's become too powerful. However, he doesn't trust Woo's commitment to the plan, as Woo won't commit beyond saying "I'll consider it." Eventually, he comes around on the plan, arguing that it's an individual game now. He tells Kass "I'm in."

SOLARRION
-Spencer relays the plan to Tasha, but she's nervous since Woo is one of Tony's closest allies. Spencer knows, and says that if Woo turns on them, Tony will know everything (amusingly, Spencer starts talking about the next tribal council as happening "next week," since, in the world of TV, it will be next week. However, in the world of the game, the tribal after next would be in three days, tops).
-Spencer, concerned, notes that Tony is excellent at reading people. We get confirmation about this when Woo, who decides to remain loyal to Kass and Spencer's plan, tells Tony that Kass and Tasha want Tasha gone. Tony is immediately able to tell that Woo is lying, since it would make no sense for Spencer and Kass to lop off someone they could very obviously use as an ally. So now Tony is concerned about the possibility of Woo trying to make a power play. I'll say this for Tony, even though he's got double the protection from two separate idols, it speaks to his commitment to Survivor that he's not resting on his laurels. Sure, he doesn't have to hustle for this vote, but he's a man who's not just playing to be asked back for another season. He's playing to actually win. And he knows that won't happen if he gets down to final five and no longer has the numbers.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE
-Before the challenge, Probst notes that Tasha is one win away from tying Kelly Wigglesworth from season one for four immunity wins in a row.
-I love this challenge. Basically, each survivor must count a specific number of items at several stations. The number of items at each station will correspond to a code that will be used to unlock a combination, which will free a baton with which they can smash their own colored tile. First person to smash their tile wins immunity. This is a difficult challenge because it becomes a matter of figuring out how many numbers you can remember at one time. Do you count all your items at one station and then move on to another, or rush back and input the numbers from each station immediately? It takes far more skill than it appears.
-Spencer and Tasha try to solve all six at once, but it's no-go. Ditto for Woo, who counted incorrectly. Trish as well. Frustration sets in for everybody as each castaway returns, thinking they've solved the combination, only to find that their baton won't release. We're nearly a half-hour into the challenge, and suddenly, things pick up in a huge way: everyone recounts the items and race back to their stations to input combinations. It's a nailbiter, as Kass and Tony both enter their combination and are wrong, just as Trish and Spencer catch up. Ultimately, Spencer is able to free his baton and smash his tile. He falls to his knees in celebration and relief after winning.
SPENCER wins Immunity!

-So the Tasha streak ends at three. Probst notes that Tasha was one number away from the correct amount of bamboo, and, thus, the correct combination. Well, I'm sure that won't haunt her forever.
BACK AT CAMP
-Tasha is disappointed to have lost, but says "I still have havoc to wreak!" Being responsible for naming the episode suddenly has me worrying about Tasha's well-being in this game.
-Tasha, Spencer, and Woo discuss the plan, with Spencer telling Woo that getting rid of Tony is the best thing for everyone's game. Spencer and Tasha decide the women should vote for Trish and the men should vote for Tony. For his part, Spencer doesn't actually believe Tony has a special idol, but he's planning on splitting the votes anyway.
-Once again, Tony proves himself exceptional at reading people, refusing to buy Tasha's resignation over going home. He feels she's up to something, and he plans on getting to the bottom of it. After being asked by Spencer, Tony refuses to confirm or deny that he actually has the special idol. Meanwhile, Kass and Tasha talk about Tony as their version of Russell Hantz, referring to him as "Jersey-style Russell Hantz". This prompts Kass to consider the possibility that it might be better to take Tony to the end, on the Russell Hantz precedent that "they never give the jerk the money." Kass goes to Woo and asks if maybe they should go after Tasha instead and keep Tony around. Kass loves being in this position since she feels she's calling the shots, whereas Woo is less thrilled to be in such a precarious position. Kass declares that no matter what happens, "Chaos will ensue."
TRIBAL COUNCIL
-It's a messy kind of tribal, as Tony notes that Tasha wasn't scrambling like she normally does, despite not actually winning immunity this time. Tasha states that Tony is responsible for putting everyone on the jury in the first place, which is more or less true, I suppose. Kass concurs, believing they need to flush out Tony's idols, which creates the question of how this will happen. Spencer declares that Tony did what he always does after a blindside, which is convince his allies to stick with him anyway. So there's a big question mark on whether Tony's manipulations have reached their limit.
-In her vote for Trish, Tasha says "Better you than me." In his vote for Tony, Spencer says that he's been in the driver's seat for too long, and it's time for him to move over. However, Woo's vote remains unseen, although we hear him congratulate the person on playing an "awesome game." Is it Tony or is it Tasha? Probst asks if anyone would like to play a hidden immunity idol, but Tony decides to hold onto his, so we proceed to the votes...
TASHA
TONY
TRISH
TASHA
TASHA
TASHA has been voted out and eliminated from SURVIVOR: CAGAYAN!
Credit: CBS
-In her exit interview, Tasha understands why she was voted out, and says it was smart of the other castaways to get her when they did, since she felt she had another immunity run in her. We see the votes and it turns out the only ones who stuck to the split-vote plan were Tasha and Spencer, as everyone else voted for Tasha.
-I basically think Kass has no shot at winning the game, but if she's even going to have the slimmest percentage of a chance at getting even a single vote at Final Tribal Council, she'll need to be sitting next to Tony at the end. This is because Survivor: Cagayan has been one of those rare seasons where one person has been responsible for putting every single ass on that jury. And not even subtly either. From the weekly deleted scenes, it appears everyone on that jury knows who put them there, so there's a very real possibility that this could be an all-time bitter jury. However, I'm really hoping the jury doesn't hold it against him too much, since he's basically been playing the best game out of everyone still in contention. Granted, that might not be saying much, but I still think Tony would be a worthy winner. In fact, I wouldn't have too much of a problem with Trish or Spencer winning either. I'm not so sure about Kass or Woo though, since Kass has seemingly been going out of her way to appear conceited and confrontational, while Woo is charming but a complete strategic non-entity. But even then, I don't believe there is such a thing as an undeserving Survivor winner. If you're able to get to the end, and then get those jury votes, then you deserved the win. All that's left now is to figure out if Tony will be able to keep his game in check long enough to get to the end, or if someone will usurp his power position and send this game into what Kass loves best: complete chaos.
What did you think of tonight's vote? Did the right person go home? Sound off in the comments! Until next week, thanks for hanging out!
