'Survivor: Blood vs. Water' Star Aras Baskauskas Engaged

Aras Baskauskas was just voted out and sent to Redemption Island in the most recent episode of Survivor: Blood vs. Water, but it's not like the man doesn't have plenty in life to be happy about.

The Survivor: Panama winner is engaged to his girlfriend of four years, model and clothing designer Christy Petersen.

Petersen had just finished a photo shoot on Saturday afternoon in Big Sur for DAWN, her women's clothing line, when Baskauskas, 32, dropped to one knee and proposed while perched upon a rocky crevice to watch the sunset. He presented her with a handmade ring by jewelry designer Jessica Seaton, which featured rose gold setting, and sliced diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds.

Baskauskas had reportedly been planning the proposal for several weeks, and made sure a photographer was on hand to capture the moment.

"I didn't think I'd be nervous," Baskauskas told PEOPLE, "but when push came to shove, I was super nervous."

Of course, his fears of rejection were unfounded.

"She said yes," Baskauskas added, "and we celebrated that night over Mexican food and margaritas!"

Congratulations to the couple! And hey, now Aras has a new loved one to bring with him if he plays Survivor a third time!
