Stevie Jo vs. Jake Barker - The Voice 2014 - Higher Love - Video

Stevie Jo and Jake Barker sang "Higher Love" on The Voice 2014 Season 6 Battle Round for Team Usher.

Preparation

Usher wanted Jake to project a bit more. He told Stevie not to use too much vibrato. "You already be moving before it starts," he said.

Jill Scott said that Jake has a Justin Timberlake "going on" while Stevie brings his emotion to everything.

Performance Video

Stevie Jo and Jake had similar voices -- it was hard to tell them apart. I preferred Jake very slightly since he was more charismatic on stage. But this was a close one though.
