Stevi Ritchie sang 'I'm Still Standing' on The X Factor UK Live Show 7 on November 22, 2014.

I've loved Stevi for weeks, and I'd love to keep him for as long as possible, for reasons I'm not sure I can really explain. But from a completely objective standpoint, I think this is where it has to end for him. At Top 7, I'm not sure it's possible to justify keeping him around any longer. And I say that as someone who generally loved how ridiculous this was. The Egyptian theme, the fire, the dancing, the pillow fight, all the gold. Only Stevi could have pulled this off. And I have to admit, I was really impressed with how much of his vocal he was able to maintain after doing all his tumbling. Of all the supposed novelty acts from over the years, Stevi is one of my favorite.

With that having been said, I do enjoy that Stevi has a certain self-awareness about his spot in the competition, saying he just wants one more week to go out on a big note. That might be asking a bit much, since it means two other really talented acts would have to go home first to accommodate that request. But honestly, Stevi knows he isn't going to win, and I really think only three acts out of this final 7 are in any kind of position to win anyway. So I wouldn't exactly hate seeing him get one more week, even while I doubt there are a whole lot of others who feel the same.
