Steve Jones won't be back on The X Factor next season (Report)

The Mirror reports that Steve Jones won't be back on The X Factor next season as FOX has decided not to renew his contract as host.

"The executives at Fox have already decided not to renew his contract and so, short of a miracle happening, it is pretty much a done deal that he will not take part next season," said a source for The Mirror.

How sad! Steve Jones is good looking but he is a bit stiff. Maybe FOX will reconsider Corbin Bleu as host!

From The Mirror:

TIS the season of goodwill... but try telling that to Steve Jones. Stateside TV bosses have apparently decided NOT to renew his contract on X Factor USA, ruining the Welsh hunk’s Christmas.

Jones – who was described as “utterly irrelevant” by one critic – is the second Brit, after Cheryl Cole, to face the axe from the show.

And the 34-year-old is said to be “devastated” at the prospect of leaving Los Angeles.

My source says: “Steve keeps saying that living in LA is a dream come true. He loves the weather and the women, and he loves working on X Factor – it’s just a shame that the US public has not warmed to him.

“He got terrible reviews from critics when he started and things haven’t got better. There have been mistakes and he just doesn’t seem to have the knack for dealing with contestants.
