Stereo Kicks sings 'Mack the Knife' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Stereo Kicks sang 'Mack the Knife' on The X Factor UK Live Show 6 on November 15, 2014.

Louis just might be the worst coach on this show, if only because he keeps changing songs on his acts at the last minute. To be fair, I thought this mostly worked out for Stereo Kicks, although I think their original song choice, 'Mirrors', would have actually worked out better. However, we never really saw why Louis felt it wasn't working. From what little we heard, it sounded perfectly fine, to me. But given the theme, this is one time where I can't really blame the guys for doing an old fashioned song instead of a modern one.

As for the performance itself, I thought it was okay, in that most of the guys got the opportunity to show off their voices in ways they haven't throughout the competition. Barclay had a nice little moment towards the end (which came immediately after the audio cut out on James Graham's microphone, in what was probably an awesome note that we'll never hear now. Bummer). And I think Jake Sims is way underutilized in this group. All in all, it was a decent enough performance, although I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this landed them in the Bottom 2 again.

But what do you think of Stereo Kicks?
