Stereo Kicks sings 'Let It Be' and 'Hey Jude' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Stereo Kicks sang 'Let It Be' and 'Hey Jude' on The X Factor UK Live Show 3 on October 25, 2014.

I felt so bad for the boys in the pre-performance video, in which they reveal that they actually saw The Xtra Factor last week, where Louis admitted he never wanted eight people in the group, blaming it on Simon. This left the group feeling that Louis had no confidence in them. Louis apologized and admitted he never should have said what he said, since he does have faith that the group can work. But I think Louis is just the wrong mentor for these guys. Simon helped shape One Direction into a Top 3 act (although I guess you could argue they would always have made the final), and I think Simon might have done wonders for this group. Any time Stereo Kicks does well, like they did tonight, it feels like they're succeeding in spite of Louis, rather than because of him. Seriously, I really liked this performance. A mash-up of 'Let It Be' and 'Hey Jude' sounds like sacrilege on paper, but it actually worked exceedingly well in execution. I hope the boys are able to bounce back from their Bottom 2 appearance, because they have a lot to still offer this competition, in my opinion.

But what do you think of Stereo Kicks?
