Stereo Kicks sang 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me' on The X Factor UK Live Show 7 on November 22, 2014.

In my opinion, this was the best performance Stereo Kicks has delivered in the entire competition. One of the smarter things I think Louis has been doing is giving solos to a wider array of vocalists in the band. Normally, this was James Graham and the Seven Hairstyles. But now? It feels like eight individuals coming together as a real group. Jake Sims, in particular, impressed me. This has been an insanely overdone song on singing shows, but I still thought this was really impressive, owing to the strong harmonies and solid verses.

That said, I'm not sure they're a stronger group than Only the Young at this point. I'm almost certain that only one of the two groups is going to make it out of this week alive. But maybe Stereo Kicks will have the advantage, having gone last. After this performance, I wouldn't exactly mind seeing Stereo Kicks stay, even though I prefer Only the Young. These guys have blossomed into a really solid group.
