Stephen Colbert Says Goodbye to Jon Stewart - VIDEO
Last night on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert (who will be taking over the Late Show from David Letterman) stopped by in character to say goodbye to his longtime friend and nemesis.
"It's become clear to me that I've won television," Colbert explained to Stewart, refusing to cry like John Oliver did during his tearful goodbye.
He then announced his plans to ride the rails hobo style seeing the country. You know, since Stephen Colbert the character will be retired to make room for Stephen Colbert the real person.
Then he took time out of his very busy schedule to show a series of clips dedicated to himself. Sounds about right.
He concluded as snarkily as possible, "Wow Jon, I'm really gonna miss me."
