Stephen Colbert is Now the First Lady of France! - VIDEO

Good news everyone, Stephen Colbert is officially the First Lady of France! At least according to where he sat at the White House State Dinner.

Basically, the dinner yesterday (Feb. 12) was to honor French President Francois Hollande, and the place next to First Lady Michelle Obama is generally reserved for the wife/partner of the visiting dignitary, but since there is none (because Francois cheated on his girlfriend) the seat was given to Colbert instead.

Therefore, Stephen Colbert is now the First Lady of France! Rejoice French peasants!

Since every First Lady has her own initiatives, Colbert decreed that his first order of business was to re-institute the guillotine and finally punish the dastardly Jean Valjean for his bread-stealing ways.
