Stefano Langone tells TMZ: 'I wanna win Grammys!'

Oh boy, Stefano Langone is a bit delusional don't you think? I love him, but his grasp of what's in store for his 'career' is a bit out there. Who has he been talking to that is making him believe that he's going to win a Grammy? It took Fantasia years to win a Grammy - and she won American Idol.

I feel very sad because maybe sometime next year when success will elude him inevitably, he might do crazy things out of desperation.

"American Idol" reject Stefano Langone refuses to get sucked into the county fair circuit -- dude's got MUCH bigger plans for his future ... and they involve a six-letter word that rhymes with glammy.

We ran into this season's seventh place winner last night in L.A. -- where he channeled Randy Jackson by saying, "Just because I'm not in the competition, don't mean I'm not in it to win it"

Stefano added, "Definitely still waiting for those Grammys."
