'Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens' Trailer to Debut Friday

This Black Friday is going to be a Force-fueled Friday: the trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will hit select theaters this weekend.

Rumors originally speculated that the trailer would debut in front of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. However, sources are confirming that the trailer will instead debut this weekend, attached to the front of...well, every movie in theaters.

Regal Cinemas has confirmed the story, revealing that nine theaters across the country will have the trailer, attached to every movie, from November 28-30 only. Although it wouldn't surprise me if the trailer were released on YouTube by Friday afternoon. Either way, a list of the theaters has been revealed. Is a theater near you on the list? Find out below:

California: Irvine Edwards Irvine Spectrum 22 & IMAX California: San Diego Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX Georgia: Atlanta Regal Atlantic Station Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX Illinois: Chicago Regal City North Stadium 14 IMAX & RPX New York: New York Regal Union Square Stadium 14 Pennsylvania: Warrington Regal Warrington Crossing Stadium 22 & IMAX Tennessee: Knoxville Regal Pinnacle Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX Texas: Houston Edwards Houston Marq’E Stadium 23 IMAX & RPX Washington: Seattle Regal Thornton Place Stadium 14 & IMAX

Naturally, these are only the theaters for Regal Cinemas. It's expected that the trailer will be shown in at least 100 more theaters across various different theater chains besides Regal Cinemas. However, specific theaters beyond these Regal locations have not been specified. Either way, expect a lot of Star Wars-related rumbling this weekend to accompany the post-Thanksgiving food coma.
