Star Trek Into Darkness - Full-Length Trailer Premiere

"Epic" is the most overused word in online discourse...and yet it doesn't even begin to describe the awesomeness on display here.

When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated everything the fleet stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a "one man weapon of mass destruction."

Benedict Cumberbatch is the villain opposite Chris Pine's Captain Kirk, and from all the previews released thus far, including the 9-minute prologue playing in front of select IMAX 3D screenings of The Hobbit, it looks like the sequel will have an irresponsible amount of hype to live up to. Whether it fulfills audience expectations, or if it's written a check the movie can't cash, I'm absolutely stoked to see the movie try.
